    Candour Hu

    Bachelor of Psychology (Honours)


    Candour is a nationally registered Psychologist. Candour is based in our Wagga Wagga clinic. Candour has interests in areas such as social anxiety, autism spectrum disorder, autobiographical memories, and trauma. Candour likes to take a client-centered approach incorporating elements of cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), and solution focused brief therapy to tailor strategies for assisting clients with their mental health. He also experience on Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR). Candour has experience working with a variety of presentations such as anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, conflict resolution, interpersonal communication difficulties, anger management and stress reduction. Candour offers both face-to-face and video-health sessions.

    Chloe Backen

    Chloe is a nationally registered Psychologist. Chloe is based in our Wollongong clinic. Chloe currently works with early adolescents through to the elderly. Chloe believes in a holistic approach and understands that many factors can contribute to mental health issues. Chloe favours lifestyle methods including diet, sleep, physical activity, behavioural activation and dearousal management as a basis for positive change. Chloe utilises a range of therapeutic modalities and techniques depending on her clients’ needs. Chloe also values a collaborative approach with other allied health practitioners treating her clients, this may include Psychiatrists, Exercise Physiologists, Physiotherapist, Dieticians, GP’s and Specialists. Chloe offers both face-to-face and video-health sessions.

    Daniel Ponepaseut

    Daniel is a nationally registered Psychologist. Daniel is based in our Wollongong clinic. Daniel has experience assisting people with anxiety, depression, drug and alcohol dependency and interpersonal issues. Daniel uses an empathic approach to clients to achieve their goals using strategies individualised for each person. Daniel has a particular interest in working with clients who have experienced trauma, depressive and adjustment disorders. Daniel uses a variety of therapeutic interventions such as Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (ACT). Daniel offers both face-to-face and video-health sessions.

    Isabelle Velkov

    Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours)


    Isabelle is a nationally registered Provisional Psychologist. Isabelle is based in our Sydney clinic. She completed her Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours) degree in 2021 from the University of Newcastle. Isabelle has previously been involved in developmental research during her fourth-year studies and has also worked with older adults in home care services. Isabelle made the decision to study psychology as she felt that her kind and empathic nature would be suited to guiding and assisting others through times of need. Isabelle is also passionate about helping people to lead meaningful and fulfilling lives through a combination of nurturing and evidence-based interventions including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Mindfulness. Isabelle enjoys supporting and assisting clients with concerns such as depression, anxiety, interpersonal difficulties, and stress. She has a particular passion for working with adolescents and the neurodivergent community. Isabelle offers both face-to-face and video-health sessions.

    Josh Forbes

    Josh is a nationally registered Psychologist. Josh is based in our Griffith clinic. Josh believes in the importance of providing evidence-based treatments to support clients achieve their goals, primarily using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). Josh works with clients across the lifespan. Josh has experience with a variety of presentations including anxiety disorders, mood disorders, anger management, grief and loss, interpersonal difficulties, trauma, and neurodevelopmental disorders such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disability, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. Josh offers both face-to-face and video-health sessions.

    Louise Scobell

    Bachelor of Applied Science (Human Movement/Psychology) Graduate Diploma in Psychology


    Louise is a nationally registered Senior Psychologist. Louise is based in our Wagga Wagga clinic. Louise is an experienced Psychologist providing assessment and treatment/counselling services across a range of psychological issues affecting both adolescents and adults. In addition to providing psychological services Louise has experience in vocational rehabilitation including the provision of Employee Assistance Program counselling, conducting vocational assessments, managing psychological injury in the workplace and redeployment assistance. Louise offers both face-to-face and video-health sessions.

    Matthew Taylor

    BSoScPsy BA (Hons) Psy Registered Psychologist


    Matt is a nationally registered Senior Psychologist. Matt is based in our Albury clinic. Matt works with clients of all ages undertaking individual, relationship and family counselling. His experience comes from working in a variety of settings including community based practice, private practice and primary and secondary schools. Matt works with a range of mental health issues including anxiety disorders, mood disorders, trauma, personality and identity, interpersonal and behavioural difficulties and childhood developmental disorders including Autism and ADHD. Matt is able to offer a range of cognitive and behavioural assessments for both children and adults. Matt’s ability to conceptualise core issues and provide this in plain language helps clients put talk therapy into practice. His strength in building a relationship quickly paired with a direct yet humanistic approach puts clients at ease and in a position to self-manage their issues in both a timely and sustainable way. Matt offers both face-to-face and video-health sessions.

    Michelle Irwin

    B Psych


    Michelle Irwin is a nationally registered Senior Psychologist. Michelle is based in our Wyong clinic on the Central Coast of NSW. Michelle has experience with assisting clients through work and life transitions as well as clinically with clients experiencing psychological distress. Michelle delivers psychological services in a clinical setting and has had extensive experience with clients who have experienced a workplace injury. Michelle has experience working with clients who have suffered trauma to fully engage in their lives. Michelle incorporates various treatment modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness Integrated CBT, Motivational Interviewing and is trained in Eye Movement and Destination Reprocessing (EDMR) therapy. Her approach is client-centred and aims to assist clients to independently manage their mental health. Michelle has worked with clients of all ages and has a strong focus on assisting adults and teens with various psychological disturbances, including anxiety, depression, chronic pain, trauma (adjustment disorder and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder), and work stress. Michelle offers both face-to-face and video-health sessions.

    Samantha Bunn

    Samantha Bunn is a nationally registered Senior Psychologist. Samantha is based in our Wagga Wagga clinic. Samantha is skilled in aiding people find lasting ways of coping and achieving overall wellbeing in their lives. Samantha draws upon the theoretical foundations of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), CBT for Eating Disorders, Motivational Interviewing and change management. Samantha is interested in psychological issues of depression, anxiety, child and adolescent concerns and relationship issues. Samantha offers both face-to-face and video-health sessions.

    Sarah Feng

    Sarah is a nationally registered Provisional Psychologist. Sarah is based in our Newcastle clinic. Sarah incorporates elements of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectic Behavioural Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) in her treatment. Working collaboratively with clients; Sarah treats a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, personality and identity concerns, interpersonal, and behavioural difficulties. Drawing on her own lived experience, she has a special interest in working with individuals participating in the National Disability Insurance Scheme. Passionate about supporting people to live meaningful lives, she enjoys helping her clients grow, adapt and thrive. Sarah offers both face-to-face and video-health sessions.

    Tania Bocher

    BA Health Sciences and Social Services, BA Psychological Counselling (Honours)


    Tania is a nationally recognised Provisional Psychologist. Tania is based in our Wyong clinic. Tania holds a Bachelor of Arts Health Sciences and Social Services, and Bachelor of Arts Honours in Psychological Counselling from the University of South Africa. Tania is an experienced Mediator registered with SAAM (South Africa). Tania’s Integrative Approach is Person-Centered and incorporates Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness, Positive Psychology and Systemic Psychology. Tania also has been trained in Logotherapy and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy. Through Mediation she has facilitated and assisted families and couples in improving communication to ensure the best interests of their children. Tania works with individuals facing everyday challenges who want to become the best version of themselves to live happy, meaningful lives. Her focus is on working with adolescents and adults who experience anxiety or mood disorders, depression, interpersonal or family issues. She can assist clients in English, Portuguese or Afrikaans. Tania offers both face-to-face and video-health sessions.

    Wendy Harrison

    Wendy is a Nationally registered Provisional Psychologist. Wendy is based in our Sydney clinic. Wendy holds a Bachelor of Science Honours in Psychology and Master of Arts in Community – Counselling Psychology from the University of the Witwatersrand in South Africa (WITS). For over 20 years, Wendy has worked in private practice in South Africa until she immigrated to Australia with her family, in 2023. Wendy is passionate about assisting clients to access their potential and providing tailored support to adolescents, adults, couples, and the elderly. She employs a wholistic approach using Person-Centered therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) as well as Ego state theory and Hypnotherapy. She can assist clients in English or Afrikaans. Wendy offers both face-to-face and video-health sessions.

    Emma Gilsenan

    Emma is a nationally registered Psychologist. Emma is based in our Newcastle clinic. Emma has special interest in assisting people with issues related to sexuality, gender, and relationship difficulties, and is an ally to LGBTQIA+, kink, sex work, and diverse relationships. She has experience working with a broad range of concerns including depression, anxiety, stress, life transitions, anger, autism, and insomnia. Emma practices through a neuroaffirming, non-judgemental, relational and intersectional framework. She welcomes clients aged 16+ who seek nonjudgemental, compassionate support. Emma offers both face-to-face and video-health sessions.

    Christie Carroll

    Christie is a nationally registered Provisional Psychologist. Christie is based in our Albury clinic. Christie completed her Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours) at La Trobe University, focusing her honours thesis on Autistic and ADHD traits within the community. Christie has worked with clients in sub-acute mental health settings, and under the NDIS as a Local Area Coordinator. Christie treats a range of conditions including anxiety, depression and stress using approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and supportive counselling. Christie supports clients to improve self-care, identify strategies to cope, and to adjust unhelpful thinking patterns to achieve their therapy goals and improve their quality of life. Christie has a particular passion in working with the neurodivergent and LGBTIQA+ communities. Christie offers both face-to-face and video-health sessions.

    Kate Lucas

    Kate is a nationally registered Psychologist. Kate is located in our Wagga Wagga Clinic. Kate completed her studies through Charles Sturt University. Kate has a youth-friendly and client centered focus. Her therapeutic approach includes a combination of Play Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Mindfulness. Kate has a special interest in supporting children, adolescents and young adults experiencing a range of social, emotional, and developmental disorders and has years of experience working with children, adolescents, and their families, in both primary and secondary school settings. Kate offers both face-to-face and video-health sessions. Kate is not accepting new patients at this time.

    Laura Williams

    B. Psych (Hons), M. Psych (Clin)/PhD candidate


    Laura is a nationally registered Provisional Psychologist. Laura is based in our Albury Clinic. Laura holds a Bachelor of Behavioural Science (Honours Psychology) from the Queensland University of Technology and is currently completing a combined Masters and Doctor of Philosophy (Clinical Psychology) at the University of New England. Laura has previous experience working in both the public and private sector, conducting psychological assessments and evidence-based interventions to a range of clients across many ages with varying mental health needs. Laura’s regional background, study and work opportunities have provided her with well-rounded experience and frames her ongoing dedication to providing holistic and tailored treatment. Laura offers both face-to-face and video-health sessions. Laura is currently on sabbatical completing her studies.
