Taneile Kitchingman

Bachelor of Psychology (Honours), Doctor of Philosophy (Clinical Psychology)

Taneile is an endorsed Clinical Psychologist, obtaining her qualifications from the University of Wollongong. Her research has been published and presented on national and international platforms, and she is committed to using research to enhance her work with clients. Taneile is a member of our Wagga Thrive Psychology team.

Taneile has experience working in inpatient and community mental health settings, as well as private practice. She provides assessment and treatment services to adolescents and adults across a broad range of psychological issues, including anxiety, depression, bipolar, PTSD, personality disorders, stress, grief and loss, bullying, and self-esteem and body image issues.

Taneile uses sound clinical judgement to determine the most appropriate approach for each client, drawing strategies from evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI) and mindfulness. She works collaboratively with her clients to help them learn strategies to manage life’s challenges and move towards a life that gives them a sense of meaning.
