Registered Psychologist (BAppPsych, GradDipPsych)
Raechel holds a Bachelor of Applied Psychology and Graduate Diploma in Psychology. In addition, Raechel have attained a Masters of Child and Adolescent Welfare. Since completing her psychology studies Raechel has gained considerable experience in assisting clients in a range of situations particularly those encountering difficulties associated with work due to physical injuries or symptoms associated with stress, anxiety and depression. Raechel has worked in Vocational Rehabilitation (Workers’ Compensation and Compulsory Third Party accidents) and through this has been responsible for the provision of vocational counselling, vocational assessments and managing psychological injury in the workplace and redeployment assistance.
This experience has led to a strong interest and knowledge of chronic pain and recovery. Raechel’s experience incorporates EAP counselling, one off psychological services and assessments, CBT and a range of counselling skills and Psychometric testing. Raechel uses Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Mindfulness, Relaxation and Motivational Interviewing.
