Josh is a Registered Psychologist at the Griffith Branch, commencing in 2018. Josh holds a Bachelor of Psychology from Charles Sturt University (CSU), graduating in 2016. Josh is an Associate Member of the Australian Psychological Society (Assoc MAPS). Following graduation, he initially worked in the Murrumbidgee region, where he assisted individuals with depression, anxiety and life stresses.
As a member of the Thrive Psychology team in Griffith Josh believes in the importance of providing evidence-based treatment for clients and assisting them in achieving their goals. He uses a variety of treatment interventions including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) skills and Mindfulness.
Josh provides psychological intervention to adults and children experiencing a broad range of mental health presentations including anxiety disorders, mood disorders, anger management, grief and loss, interpersonal difficulties, and trauma.
Josh provides services under Medicare, Employee Assistance Programs (EAP), and is also SIRA accredited.
